What Are These ‘Emotions’ You Speak Of?
Holy fuck! These new meds are kicking my ass. I feel sick as a dog. It’s kinda strange coming off the old stuff, I forgot how much they took from me. I had no idea how flattened my emotions were under the old chemical regime. What a trade off - volatile emotional technicolour or stable muted grey? Guess the choice seems obvious but it’s not. MDD needs to be suppressed but with suppression comes numbness. Ugh. I can see why people stop taking their medication. I miss feeling.
Better to live a day on your feet than spend a lifetime crawling.
